Piedra De Agua a Charming, Affordable Base in the Heart of Merida

Piedra de Agua is a charming little hotel in the very centre of Mérida, with lovely rooms, compact bathrooms, and a perfectly comfortable bed at a very reasonable price.  If you are seeking a central location and a good night’s sleep, look no further.

The staff are kind and helpful, much like many people you meet across Mexico.  The location couldn’t be better.  The hotel sits just half a block from the main square, surrounded by colonial churches and within an easy stroll of the handicrafts market.

Like most colonial-era buildings, the hotel is arranged around a central courtyard where the dining area is located.  At the back, a lovely patio with a swimming pool and bar, perfect for cooling off after a day exploring the city.

Perhaps most importantly, Piedra de Agua is also just around the corner from Las Quekas.
